Sessions & Fees

Sessions:

Sessions are 50 minutes long, usually on the same day and time each week for the duration of your therapy.

Sessions are offered :

• Online via Zoom

• By telephone or WhatsApp

• Face-to-face at Cherry Tree Therapy Centre in central Henley on Thames

You can mix these for maximum flexibility. Please be assured that the therapy relationship has long been known to make substantial and consistent contributions to psychotherapy outcomes, independent of how it may be delivered.

Online:

I welcome clients from around the world. Most agree that Zoom is the most convenient and reliable way to connect.

Face-to-Face:

In-person sessions take place in central Henley-on-Thames (RG9), in an historic building. The counselling rooms are calm, comfortable, and provide a safe therapeutic space.

• Nearest parking: Waitrose car park, a short walk away

• Please enquire about access if you have mobility issues

Availability:

I offer sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday throughout the year, except during a break in December.

Structure of Sessions:

The initial session lasts 50–75 minutes. This is an opportunity for you to share what has brought you to counselling and for us to explore whether working together feels right.

• There is total confidentiality

• You are under no obligation to continue

• Together, we decide whether to move forward

Further sessions are held weekly and last 50 minutes.

• The decision to continue is always yours

• We regularly review how the therapy is progressing

• The approach will evolve to best support you

I welcome enquiries from both self-funding and health insured clients. Fees may vary for health insured clients so please check when booking.

Self Funding Fees (2026):

• Initial session (50–75 minutes): £80

• Ongoing sessions (50 minutes): £80

Payment is due by bank transfer, due 24 hours prior to your session.

Cancellation policy:

• No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours of your session time will be due in full

• Subject to availability, I may offer an alternative session within the same week, though this cannot be guaranteed

• In the rare event that I need to cancel at short notice, you will not be charged
